The remarkable baroque ossuary was built in 1733 for laying the remains from cancelled graves in the then main Kolín graveyard at St.Bartholomew´s Church. Together with the ossuary in nearby Kutná Hora - Sedlec it belongs among the most significant sights of this kind in Czech lands.
